Icelandic composers - working on it!
Iceland has many great musicians and bands that are well known outside of Iceland. Björk Guðmundsdóttir is probably the most famous singer and Sigurrós is probably the most known band. Recent years many others have also become world famous like the singer Laufey Lin and the band Kaleo that have been touring the world.
Iceland Airwaves is held every year in Reykjavik late Autumn, early Winter and has dozens of Icelandic groups playing all over the city in many venues and bars. The next Iceland Airwaves event will take place November 7-9, 2024 in Reykjavik. Season Tours will be offering tours both before and after the event.
